Nissan Use Automotive Technology To Create iPhone Casing

Nissan might be a company best known for making cars, so we must ask what is their purpose to make the casing for the iPhone? Well, seems to want to utilize their experience in the automotive industry by presenting an iPhone case called "Nissan's Scratch Shield iPhone case", which as the name may mean protecting (or more accurately "heal") when scratched.

This technology is not new. Even for those who really users Nissan, they may be able to recognize that this technology has been used on Nissan's Infiniti. However, this technology was developed back in 2005 by Nissan in a collaboration with the University of Tokyo and Advanced Softmaterials Inc.. According to Nissan:

"Paint the outside is made of polyrotaxane, which means when there is damage to the lining in the form of fine scratches, chemical structure is able to react to changes to return to their original shape and fill the loopholes."
