350 Thousand Textbook Downloaded from iBooks in 3 Days

If you agree Apple's move to foray into the world of education with iBooks application is a good idea, you're right. According to Global Equities Research, which monitors sales of Apple's iBook owners through the tracking system - more than 350,000 textbooks have been downloaded in the first three days since they were available in the App Store. Global Equity Research also found that about 90,000 books downloaded from the Author iBooks application in the same time period.

But these figures are not official numbers from Apple, but this is still an excellent start from Apple and promising a bright future for the era of e-textbooks. with this success could be that you will see more books from independent authors popping up in iBooks.
